EFL 0500 Need tips!!!

My friends and I have been struggling with the P1 Q2c/d :") there was a Tr change in the middle of our course and it wasted a lot of time. Our new Tr dropped the coursebook and only started with the past paper practices.. so im kinda lacking in the writers effects and imagery devices part. Any tips to study them more efficiently?

also my average has been 110/160 which is around A/A* according to the boundary but i feel like its still to low to aim for even an actual A in my finals. I'm scared to trust my Tr cause my seniors with A*s in their finals has been saying that they didnt really follow his tips in the finals... especially with P1Q2 lol
