GCSE AQA practicals

Hi to all the GCSE experts,
I'm in Y9 and I just found out that there will be 10 experiments/practicals from each of the 3 sciences that we'll be examined on at gcse.
In school, we're doing the effect of ph and temperature on enzyme activity. So, how many steps should the best methodology have (my teacher said 5 or 6, but when I go online, it shows up 8 or 9 steps)?
I'm confused...

Hiya, the number of steps, really depends on how many marks a question is. Honestly speaking, there is no reason for you to do more than 7 points. 7 should be the maximum you write  . When doing exam questions and past papers, have a look at the mark scheme.

Hope this helps
