Year 12 resit

Can a person still get into med school after resitting year 12 ? And is it worth it to resit year 12 ?

Yes, they won't care. Many people applying to medical school are already in their twenties for a number of reasons, from not getting in and reapplying, to graduate entry applicants, so they don't really care.
If your grades are anything lower than all A's, you should resit and try to get those grades, if you don't you should be looking at foundation year medicine, which has lower grade requirements.
It is also worth it to consider if medicine is really the right choice for yourself if you aren't capable of achieving top grades. Medical school is far harder than a-levels so if you can't manage a-levels medical school could go badly wrong and too many fails can get you kicked out entirely.
Best of luck, you'll get there in the end.

I reast year 12 and didnt end up applying for medicine because of my UCAT score, but other than that universities dont care. They only care if you have had to retake/resit your a level exams again to get higher grades. 🙂 Hope that helps!

If you don't mind answering, what went wrong? What score did you get and why do you think you got that score?
Thanks in advance.
