Post for no reason

Why the heck is English literature actually so good but yet no-one seems to offer it for A level? Of mice and men is a banger and lord of the flies ******* slaps but people don't realise? Like the stories?? Amazing. The characters??? Spectacular. Don't get me started on the themes and the way everything tells you a little bit about the author and how they want you to think and about their life that comes out in teeny ways and the way it all ties together for morals in the end
Like I know theyre not real but people need to realise they are important! To me the amount of people that don't like English is more a testament to the teaching and less the actual subject tbh
And this is literally coming from aa all stem student like c'mon
