How long do York Uni take to send offers?

Hello, I applied to the film production course at York a couple of months ago and they said they would wait until the application deadline to send out offers. Now that they deadline has passed I was wondering how long they might take from now as it's my last offer I'm waiting for.

i got sent my offer the day before the deadline, about 10 days after I applied, but I was applying for Biology so it probably varies on subject

Thank you for your patience in waiting for my reply. I have an answer from the admissions team who are looking after UG film and television:

We have received a high volume of applications and we are currently working through these as quickly as possible. You will receive our decision by the UCAS deadline for on time applications (14th May 2025)/ late applications (17th July 2025) at the latest, in many cases it will be earlier than this.Thank you for your patience. I hope this information is helpful but if you have any additional questions do not hesitate to contact [email protected]

Your application will have been 'on time' if you submitted it by 29th January 2025.

As above, universities have until May to respond so there’s no rush for them to get back to you now as there’s still plenty of time left.

doesnt help that my tutor keeps nagging me asking if ive got an offer yet because EVERYONE else in my class has offers already

Well in that case the tutor imo should be aware that universities have until May and that this could partly explain why you haven’t received an offer yet.

I agree that it doesn’t help that your teacher is nagging you.
