IGCSE Edexel vs Cambridge

Hello. I sat for 3 igcse cambridge exams and failed in two ( I passed english), I want to retake those two but as Edexel igcse. Is that okay? That would mean in order to keep that English grade, I will have to keep the cambridge certificate that mentions I failed in two subjects. What should I do?
Even if you retook the Cambridge board, your first attempts would have to be declared when you apply for college and university anyway. There's no getting around that. You can never erase your failures, but it shows that you have persevered and not let it stop you, and that you've worked hard to better yourself.

So take the Edexcel if you like, it makes no difference to your original attempts.

But Im afraid I wont be accepted because of those fails. Despite the requirement being passing 5 subjects.

Accepted by who?
A pass is a pass, even if you had to resit the exam to achieve it.

As you're talking about "the requirement being passing 5 subjects" I assume you're talking about college or sixth form. They will accept your resits, that's not an issue. I'd say your bigger problem is that you only took 3 subjects in the first place, so where are your other two subjects going to come from?
