Struggling with motivation, any tips? (also I might depresso, idk)

Hello, you can call me Yellow :]. I (13 F) need some help. Ever since I started middle school it has felt like I have been losing my motivation. I'm a classic 'gifted kid;' advanced English, AP math/algebra, all A's/rarely ever B's, and ADHD. Possibly Dysgraphia, but I haven't looked into it much yet. My first year of middle school wasn't too bad. Definitely struggled more than elementary and had many missing assignments, but I got A's at the end of the day. It's similar this year (8th grade), but just worse. It feels pointless. And I still do the classic ADHD "Wait till the last minute, then get a giant burst of motivation to get it done" thin, but now the motivation just never comes. It NEVER does. And if it doesn't then I might get my first D. I joined wrestling this year, which did NOT help with the work load. Practice EVERY DAY after school until like 5ish, and a tournament/meet or two almost every week. My teachers have been understanding and let me turn stuff in late, but I'm not sure how much longer I can keep it up. Wrestling season is almost over, which should help immensely. BUT there are still varsity practices to prepare for state for a month after. My dad said I should go to them to get better and show the coaches that I really care about the sport, despite the fact that it will probably be above my skill level, AND it'll probably annoy the varsity girls when they have to practice with the newbie middle schooler. I don't really have any friends on the team despite it being around 3 months since I met them. It's hard, usually when I make friends its either because 1. They're a fellow weirdo who joined the friend group through someone else, 2. I found out that we have a common interest and then bond over that, and/or 3. We just randomly started talking to each other for whatever reason, like being seated next to each other or something. The girls on my wrestling team already had friends there, or settled into groups rather quickly. Anyways, I have to go to 5th period now. Sorry, this turned out kinda rambly and strayed away from the original topic. Also sorry that I have not grammar/spell checked this lol.
Hi @YellowTheNerd.

I have couple tips for you that could help you.

1.

Have you thought of changing environment for your studies? You can try library, quiet coffee shop, or a different empty room in the house.

2.

You know why you are studying, you might just probably struggle with your goals. You can break your goals into specific and manageable ones. And be really specific - reading chapter 4 a making notes. This will make the task less overwhelming.

3.

Have you established a routine? If your brain will get used to some repeating tasks every day, it will be easier for you to do it. If your mind knows that every day you study from a certain time with a break at a certain time, you will find your motivation more easily.

4.

Ask yourself why you want to study: Is it career, personal development or other goals?

5.

Keep your study materials organized, this will motivate you to study more.

6.

Always rewards yourself after each day of completing studying (do/eat what you love after that).

7.

If you find a study group in your area, then you sign up to come let's say every Thursday and you will see other people to study, you will be more motivated

8.

Be positive and visualize success how you managed to finish your studies and what it will bring you.

9.

Inspire yourself from successful people in your field

10.

Have you also thought of finding a mentor for yourself? They might help address the challenges you are facing right now.
