When does University of York typically give offers?

I am taking a gap year so applied in September 2024 (I already have my grades). Was just wondering when the uni typically makes a decision? Still haven’t heard back. I am one grade below the entry requirements, so my thinking is they are just waiting to see how many applicants they receive before they decide whether they can/want to offer me a place.

Have many people heard back yet? I applied for undergrad Law.

One of my friends applied for computer science at York in September and recieved a offer mid-October.
I just got an invite to interview (for maths) after applying in early January.

I'm not sure if it'll be similar for Law though

I received an offer for law in early January, but I’m quite a long way above the requirements (York is one of my safe choices), so I wouldn’t worry: they will likely wait to give offers to more borderline candidates to see the range of applicants- good luck!! I hope you get an offer 🙂

York was In clearing in 2024 but only EU and international

York: AAA (EU and International only)

That suggests no one in UK got a non-contextual offer without minimum grade tariffs being achieved
