Gap year & re-apply

If I decide to reject my offers this year and reapply for next year will it make a difference ?
Will I be able to apply to just one I’m assuming
Anyone ever done this for uni of Edinburgh or uni of Bristol?

If you decide not to go this year, you would cancel your 2025 entry UCAS application and start a new one in the autumn for 2026 entry. You would have 5 new choices, and you could repeat some from this year if you wanted to, but just be aware that you are not guaranteed a repeat offer.

Thanks ! I already have offers back and not planning on firming anything. Once I get all offers , if I cannot defer them I will start again next year

Deferral is usually straight forward if you ask early enough . After Easter, Unis may be more reluctant as they have started to finalise course numbers. This is a far better option than reapplication, unless you are wanting apply to a 'new' Uni choice - it avoids the protentional of rejection from an offer you already have / want.

Thanks
Do I need to wait for all my offers and pick my field choice before I can defer ?

No, you can get the ball rolling whilst you are still waiting the other decisions.
