Accommodation

Does anyone know what the best accommodation there is for university of manchester or university of salford? i’m looking for something very social but also affordable as my maintenance loan is quite low.

Hello,

If you want to live in on-campus student accommodation, then Peel Park Quarter at the University of Salford rates well. This student accommodation is modernly furnished and spacious, with lots of community facilities, and is priced at under £190 per week. The University of Manchester also has a number of on-campus student accommodation options, but the cheaper flats have mixed reviews. If you don't mind living off-campus, then you'll have a wider range of options; both universities have plenty of purpose-built student accommodation nearby and offer affordable room options.

Hello there,

Exciting to see that you are looking at the accommodation options at Salford. We do have a couple for you.

Firstly we have our Peel Park Quarter accommodation which can be found on our main campus (Peel Park). You can find out more about this accommodation via the Campus Living Villages (CLV) website. They are our partner company that looks after the halls. I will put a link to the website here.

We also have our John Lester and Eddie Colman accommodation, the big difference between this accommodation and Peel is the fact that this is slightly down the road from our main campus, roughly a 10 minute walk. It is still looked after by CLV and I will put a link to this part of the website here, so you can have a better look.
