Hello! I’ve applied for Occupational Therapy Bsc at the University of Liverpool, I had my interview in December and I received an offer late January. I think it depends on whenever you sent in your application in but I wouldn’t stress in the group interview section he said that most people won’t hear back for a while. I hope this helps 🙂

Hi, do you have any advice for the interview? I’ve got mine very soon and just wondering what to expect!

Hi, do you have any advice for the interview? I’ve got mine very soon and just wondering what to expect!

Of course!! So basically the interview is made up of a group interview and then individual interviews. In the group interview you basically discuss scenarios related to OT, it’s important to share your ideas in this bit without interrupting and dominating the conversation. When you finish with your response add a question on the end to encourage others to interact like ‘what does everyone else think’ or ‘does anyone else have any ideas/agree/disagree?’ And if you notice someone who isn’t get involved encourage them to share their ideas. For the individual interview just be confident and show them why you want to become an OT and why you think it’s the next right move for you. Make sure you know the definition of what an OT is and basically what they do. Remember you aren't competing against everyone else
I hope this helps!! And good luck with your interview I hope it goes well for you 🤞

Thankyou so much!! This was all very helpful!
I’m just wondering how long it took you to hear back on whether you got an offer or not, you said above your interview was in Dec and you got an offer in Jan (well done!) but do u know how many weeks this was? - feeling nervous !

It was exactly 6 weeks until I heard back which was a painful wait 😂! But it was over the Christmas period so I’m assuming offers may get back quicker now. Let me know how your interview goes!!
