A levels

Guys, I have physics, maths and computer sciences in Al levels as well as English ki as an extra subject. I want to be in the programming field. The university I choose told me to drop physics for a levels but I’ll have to study physics on weekends when I’m in uni. My mom is telling me not to drop physics. I only have 1 year to study. I have been procrastinating. I’m really good at cs. I am worried about maths and physics. I don’t know what to do. Physics takes all my time and I am not even able to solve questions. I am overwhelmed by physics (maths too) but if I drop physics I’ll be able to focus on maths which will be easier for me. I don’t know how to do it all in 1 year. I’ll be giving composite of all the subjects
Why don’t you wanna drop it?
Which Uni subject are you applying for?

(And which Uni 'told' you to drop a specific A level subject? That sounds very unlikely.)

why would a uni ask you to drop a subject that's so weird, def talk to your teachers about that. i think creating a plan for yourself in which you divide up your revision could help if you don't want to drop physics but if you do then go for it.

We officially asked the university and interrogated that is it okay to not give exam for physics and they said it’s okay as long as I will have to study the subject in university. Their only priority is maths. And I’ll get into the uni depending on their entry test
