UCL decision vs Commitment Due Date for Other unis

Hi im a international student applying to UCL. I got a offer from Toronto with a extremely generous financial package. I'll pick toronto over king's or edinburgh, but UCL i really don't know. The commitment due date for Toronto is May 1. I applied to UCL on 25th January. Do you think I'll be able to hear back from them before May 1st? Also I applied for three courses to UCL (2 connected, 1 not really). Does this lower my chance by them thinking i have lower commitment to my subject?

Applying to 3 courses at UCL, especially with only 2 being connected, most likely led to your personal statement being weaker as it was not focused enough. That may have lowered your chances but I haven’t read your personal statement or looked at your application so I genuinely could not say.

The deadline for ucas decisions is the 14 of May. As you know, international fees in the UK are very high and the cost of living in London is very high too. So if it starts to cone towards the end of April and you've not heard back from UCL yet, I would take Toronto. You don't want to miss out on a great opportunity at Toronto, just to get rejected by UCL.

thanks. my two courses were both management with different focuses, while the other was engineering. my parents have a manufactoring business i plan to take over. i had bunch of awards, certifications, job experience, and my IB is 42 which is between A*AA and A*A*A. i think im just on borderline to get accepted or rejected but i guess i'll see.
