HELP

Ok so, I’m going into sixth form next year and I’m having a right conundrum…
My uncle has offered me to go to a private school, which is an incredibly amazing opportunity and I’m so thankful. Issue is this college does IBs… I want to be a doctor and it is really throwing me a loop. The school is a boarding school which is really exciting but also i know the nature of the IB is supposed to be very challenging.. while this is a great opportunity should I just take the more standard route of A-levels? I’m typically an all-rounder with mainly 8s and 9s accept English lang which is a 6. This is also throwing my as I would have to take English and it could bring down my overall grade… I just really want to know everyone else’s opinions, thank youuu.

i think it’s a great opportunity to be able to go to boarding school, but if you’re certain you want to do medicine and think IB is not for you then you should definetly consider! perhaps talk to your uncle so he can understand why you maybe don’t want to take up his kind offer. also, the boarding school environment is not for everyone, and some say that going to private school hurts your chances for uni applications- although they would help you more with applications and interviews for example
