cardiff offer

I’ve got an offer of AAB for biological sciences at Cardiff but my predicted is ABB. I really want to go to cardiff and it’s my firm however i don’t think i’ll be able to get AAB, how likely is it that i’ll still get accepted even though im a grade below?

Is your offer for BSc or MBiol?
Historical data showed that you would have decent chance of admitted with achieved "ABB" based on past statistics (scroll down for historical data):

However, be confident and focus on your exam. You can achieve the offer grades AAB.

Hi there,

So glad you want to come to Cardiff, I'm a student here and love it. I cannot say for sure unfortunately, particularly as it also sometimes varies year-on-year based on number and grades of other applicants. But I would not be discouraged, as it still is possible. Hope your exams go well, and fingers crossed.

Not a professional but couldn't you still firm it? And insure your second choice. Also, maybe email the university asking why they gave you a higher offer? - what were the entry requirements?
