UAL camberwell BA Fine Art

hi, i'm an international high school student and just received a conditional offer from UAL Camberwell for BA Fine Art. My offer includes a requirement to successfully complete CCW's Preparation for BA course, which I need to pay for. However, my friend who got into LCC didn't receive this requirement. I already have an IELTS score of 6.0, which meets the entry requirements. I’d like to know if this course is mandatory and why I might have been asked to complete it. Could this be due to my interview performance? bc it was really bad... Or is it bc I applied straight to BA without a foundation course?

its better to start a BA course with a foundation year done. the BA courses are just 3 years long and this extra year is really helpful to develop your practice. if you can afford this extra requirement go for it
