A questionnaire is designed to collect info about a topic/topics.
•
A questionnaire allows the researcher to find out what participants think and feel.
•
A questionnaire is an objective/scientific way of conducting research, however the design is important and they are always pre-determined, whereas an interview can either be a structured or non-structured interview.
•
They can only be filled in by people who are literary (can read and write).
•
Allows for acquiescence bias (choosing the options often at the end of the scale/likely to agree regardless of how they feel).
