Hi
Couldn't tell you exact questions and answers for your midwife interview at derby because it would be a disadvantage to other candidates who's doing the same interview as yourself.
Below is some possible examples of what you might be asked because every interview universities does are completely different from the previous ones so that nobody will know what going to be asked,.....
1) why did you choose midwifery instead of say adult or children nursing.
2) what made you choose this particular university for your midwife degree.
3) study the nmc code of practice
4) research and understand the 6 C's of nursing
5) how would you cope with stress
6) how would you cope with a bereavement ( unfortunately this does happen and you need to be prepared) and still stay professional as a midwife. ( Bereavement training will be given at some point during your degree coursework).
7) do you have any previous experiences in a healthcare setting ( not really necessarily but useful).
8 where can you see yourself in say the next 5 - 10 years.
