Applicant Day

Applicant Day season is getting closer and closer. Liverpool Hope’s first Applicant Day (or Offer Holder Day as some universities call it) is on the 1st March. It will run from 9am -4pm.

An Applicant Day gives you the chance to speak with tutors and enjoy a subject taster session, speak with our support teams such as Admissions and Accommodation, view accommodation and even make your accommodation applications with the team!!

One of the best things about these days is the Travel Bursary we offer. No matter how far you are coming to visit us you may be eligible for our Travel Bursary, from 0+ miles travelled.

Once you have registered your attendance with us on the day you will receive an email after the event asking you to fill out this form if you wish!

Thanks for this Daisy!

Applicant days or offer holder days are a great chance to get a more specific feel of what its like to study your course. Please look out for your invite! Here at Bath your invitation should come the day after your offer but this will vary from course to course depending on when the events are - just rest assured that we WILL invite you in good time, just remember to check your spam folder just in case 🤣

Tips:

Bring your questions written down - chat to lecturers, chat to current students

•

Get a feel for the place - can you see yourself enjoying it here? Do you feel at home here?

•

Visit the city before/after your event - go to a cafe, browse the shops, find a landmark - can you see yourself happy here for 3-4 years?

Here at Bath we also have an applicant travel bursary scheme - if your household income is lower than £30,000 per year we can reimburse you up to £150 for transport costs if you email us after your event!

I want to echo how great applicant days are, this is where I recognised that YSJ was the university for me as you get to experience the university without the hustle and bustle of a regular open day.
