Dentistry success stories
Any dentistry success stories from mature students. Currently feeling a bit meh after having 4 rejections. Covid mucked up my alevels for me, leaving me with BCC so I went ahead and did a degree in biomedical science thinking it would be an alternative route, achieved a 2:1 and I feel like I’m back at square one at the age of 24! Interested to hear back from any mature students that had a difficult path into dentistry and what schools you went to.

I am 38 and I'm a 4th year dental student... in slovakia lol. I was so hell bent on doing this that I packed up and did it abroad. Don't be disheartened by your current situation, in the grand scheme of things you're still very young and could even take the same route I did if you really want this. Happy to provide more info if you need it, but don't beat yourself up, seriously, you got this!
Side note, I am due to graduate in 2027, so I will be 40 when I am done, which is wild.
