While this application is not officially endorsed by OCR or AQA, I have peers who had great experiences using it!

MyTutor, allows you to search through many options to find the right tutor for you, within the right budget. You can also see reviews for each tutor, so it's up to you to find the right match for yourself. They offer one to one tutoring, online lessons, flexible timetables and you can find tutors from prestigious universities!

that’s great, i’ll take a look at that. i also have a question completely irrelevant but since you do business, do you find it interesting, as i did business at GSCE but didn’t carry it on for A-Levels and kind of regret it. but is business good? and UCLAN is my closest uni!!

Hi! I did sociology a level and got a few marks off of 100% 🙂 . I now do Psychology at university, however as I still have all my resources I am able to tutor you online for a reasonable price. I also have a year of past experience tutoring 11+ and GCSE, so I can be reccommeded by many ! Let me know if you are up for it.

Hi @izzybfc ,

I'm enjoying my course so far! In first year we spent time building a strong foundation of knowledge that will then allowed me to understand more complicated concepts as we moved forward. The course also makes sure you understand how to apply your understanding through case studies of other successful, or unsuccessful, businesses.

If your interested in gaining work experience, you will have the opportunity to do a placement year between second and third year. This placement could even be abroad! We recently had a lecture that updated us on the most recent placement years we could apply for, one was even in Disney Land in Florida.

If you're more entrepreneurial, the university has a "student enterprise". These are staff who have great knowledge in starting up businesses and can therefore guide you throughout and give you advice. There may also be an opportunity to receive grants, personally I received a generous grant of £600 so I could begin a T-shirt printing company.

One of my favourite parts of the course is there are no exams currently, it's just assignments!
