liberal arts at durham uni

hi! I have a couple of questions about this degree and would be super helpful for any responses! the subjects I would study are history and economics btw

1. what is the official title of it (ie will it include all the subjects I study within the degree or just the ones from the arts and humanities)?
2. how employable is the degree- I want to go into finance/ accounting company so is a Durham liberal arts degree likely to help me land a role like this? also I want to do a placement year so would I be able to do this in a finance role even though this doesn’t directly link to the degree (I.e. does my placement have to link directly to my main humanities subject in doing in the degree?)?
3. how often do timetable clashes happen and how are these often dealt with?
4. just generally what the department and degree is like (well organised, helpful in solving issues etc)?
5. what is the ‘sources of the self’ compulsory module like in the first year? what roughly does it cover?

1.

also, how do I chose modules- can I literally pick whichever history/ econ modules I want or are there limitations to this?

thanks so much for any help- it is really appreciated!
