Cambridge HisPol (History and Politics) 2025 applicants

I got an offer for History and Politics, but I feel like there's literally nobody else (at least from what I've seen so far online). If anyone else has an offer for HisPol, please reply :smile:

Yep I got an offer at Trinity Hall, I heard similar things, apparently they cut the numbers this year. What college are you at?

I applied to King's, nice to see a fellow HisPol applicant. Any idea why they cut numbers?

I got HisPol at King’s, I haven’t seen anyone online getting HisPol offers either

King’s College gave me A*AA, with the A* needing to be in either History or Politics.

Sorry for seeing this so late - that's amazing! Even though the Oxbridge deadline is near, it was only this time last year that I even started writing my personal statement lol. What I did was write down everything that I found interesting in the books I read, then expand it with my own knowledge or research, so the actual content of the book wasn't the most important thing but rather my interest in history and politics. I also talked about my own experience of visiting Patagonia (the Welsh settlement in Argentina) which was very interesting as it absolutely combined history and politics. If you want my PS or notes just give me a shout :smile:
