Pharmacy interview for Nottingham and Manchester university

HELP! Is there any resources to practice ethical scenarios for my pharmacy interview since I can never find any. The Nottingham uni has an MMI format so are there any resources to practice numeracy and chemistry questions they will ask.

Hi @kat477,
My name is Dominic and I am a 4th year MPharm student at the University of Nottingham.
There's no official resources from the university about the kinds of questions come up, however the chemistry questions are all based quite heavily on A-level content, so as long as you are familiar with the basic concepts of chemistry in terms of functional groups and chemical bonds.

In terms of ethics questions they are pretty straight forward and are not trying to catch you out, they're simply looking to see if you have a basic understanding of what is expected, in terms of confidentiality and ethics, of any healthcare professional. If you wanted you could have a look at the 9 standards of pharmacy which you could make reference to during this section.

All in all the interviews are to see how you as a person go about answering various questions rather than actually getting the questions right (trust me I did not answer well for my interview!)

Hope this helps, if you have any other questions feel free to reply to this message. 🙂
