My school reuses past papers

Hey student room! I'm a new user. How are you all? I'm feeling kind of demotivated right now because a lot of my peers are somehow getting the exact past paper before the exam and during mocks that's the exact same one that comes out. I've been putting a lot of work
Into these mocks but it's like people are always 1 step ahead of me because they had the past paper before hand. It's really annoying me.

my advice? ignore it. in the end, people arent going to get the real gcse exam paper before and since you put in the work, you will be in abetter position than them

agreed ignore it, this is the advice i shouldve followed when i was at school🤣 if you cheat it doesn't benefit you, you won't know what you need to work on and you'll have no idea how to properly measure your current ability in the chosen subject correctly. Most of these people who are cheating will have overinflated predicted grades and can impact their ability to apply for sixth forms as a result
