Yesss good idea! Btw if i did not have a distinction in one of my years, does that pretty much mean im out of the running?

I don't think so. It's pretty much about the whole picture of your application rather than a single element. Practice-based research is also encouraged and you don't even have to have relevant academic experience. And according to my supervisor it's still the proposal that plays the most important role.
If you have doubts it won't take long to find out. In March you'll know if you are shortlisted according to the website. If you are shortlisted, then I don't think the grade makes that much a difference.

Does anyone know if I have to accept my offer to be further considered for funding?
And do I have to upload my offer letter to the application page?

perfect, thank you!
Do you know how the shortlisting works? Do you have to be shortlisted by your university or only by the LAHP?

I have no idea about the shortlisting. I don't know what percentage of students will be deemed unsuccesfull in the first round of shortlisting. Like do 50% of applicants get eliminated or more or less?

Can anybody give some more info about how the shortlisting works? If we dont get an email on friday, does that mean we are still in the running? Or do we also get an email to say we are still in the running?

LAHP Application Stages

I just have this from the website- this is like the 3 stages. I am not sure if shortlisting is from Stage 1 or it's from Stage 1 and 2.

For those who have already been informed, could you please mention your field and university? This would help the rest of us understand whether the emails are sent all at once or in batches.

I also wholeheartedly hope that another funding opportunity will be successful for everyone who was not shortlisted for LAHP!

Yes, as I spoke to two people who are already undertaking PhD study and they accepted their offers before finding out about funding. Also I didn't just apply to LAHP....
