Check entry requirements for the unis you're interested on the websites, if it is unclear you can email them. If you are not sure which unis offer this course, search on whatuni.

Hi @sakuyakun

While here at Kingston we don't offer exactly a fashion marketing degree, we offer 'Fashion Promotion and Communication BA (Hons)'. I believe the content of both degrees are quite similar and wanted to offer any advice form your questions!

The entry requirements to this course are 3 A-level passes or an equivalent, with no requirement for business to have been studied! The other requirements are to apply with a digital portfolio to support your application to the course.

I have attached a link to this course to look further if you are interested:

I hope this helped and please let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi @sakuyakun

I study fashion promotion and communication here at Kingston and as Yasmin said there are no business requirements.

For example I studied Politics, English and Textiles at A-level and then did an art and design foundation course which I believe is similar to the course you are currently studying.

If you have any questions about the course, Kingston, applications etc feel free to ask

Hello there!

You can apply for a Fashion Marketing course at university even if you haven’t studied business at college. Since you're currently doing an Art and Design BTEC with a focus on textiles and clothing production, your creative background aligns well with Fashion Marketing, which blends creativity with business strategy.
Most Fashion Marketing degrees don’t require a Business A-Level or BTEC as an entry requirement. Universities often look for a strong creative portfolio, an understanding of the fashion industry, and a passion for branding, digital marketing, and consumer trends—all of which you likely have from your textiles and design studies.
Some universities may recommend or prefer applicants with business-related experience, but this isn’t usually mandatory. To strengthen your application, you can gain marketing experience by starting a fashion-related blog, social media page, or freelance project showcasing your understanding of fashion trends and branding.
Your design experience will be an asset, as Fashion Marketing values creativity in visual branding, styling, and advertising. As long as you demonstrate enthusiasm for marketing and fashion, you’ll be a strong candidate for a university course in this field.

I hope this helps!
Good luck!

Kind regards,

The best fashion marketing courses are based in a fashion department not in a business school. Having a creative background is a benefit.
The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s important that you do your research in your own time to find out more about the fashion industry. Try to get to Graduate Fashion Week if you can, read BoF (your local library might be able to get this for you) etc etc
