Last time u stalked someone?!

It was about a month ago.

She's a famous pop star, who I am convinced I'm made for her, I hacked her phone, so I can follow her anywhere. I'm determined to make her mine. My master-plan has gotten stalled because of the court restraining order banning me from ever contacting her and going within 1 Kilometre of her, or even mentioning her name. Her boyfriend also has something to say about it. However, this is all just a minor set-back though. One day, she will be my wife, and that's an end of it! :creep:

I assume the OP means internet stalking and I reject the notion. If you put yourself freely on social media then it’s absurd.

Albeit I don’t care enough about women I’m going on a first date with (I’m single) to bother with that.

Be that as it may, it's still a weird question to ask, and could have been phrased better

This is where I turn to the amusing US statistic that 8% of stalkers go on to marry their stalkees. So it seems there’s a few people (mainly men I’d guess) who end up finding the stalking flattering.

Sorry to disappoint you :p:

I thought it was obviously a sarcastic post, but thought I'd better cover myself, in case I got my collar felt.

Guess some people have low self-esteem, so they're flattered by any attention. Alternatively, they could be coerced / intimidated into compliance.

Still, it's the US, and nothing surprises me over there now.

I suspect it’s purely gender.

The reason that stalking is considered a dangerous crime is because it’s essentially a gateway drug to more serious crimes of a potentially sexual nature.

For a man who is being stalked, if the woman is attractive then bar being a bit nutty (but who hasn’t dated a woman who’s probably a bit unstable) then they are being obsessively perused by somebody who’s probably not a physical threat to them.

For the many men who have low personality standards I would therefore think that quite a few of them would see that an attractive woman is obsessively perusing them and simply glaze over the mental instability beneath it in a ‘she ground me down’ kind of way.

It's still stalking, calling it 'research' doesn't make it any less dodgy at all. The way someone walks home is openly available but it doesn't make it any less dodgy to start following them. One persons research can be looking up someone they likes facebook etc to check out their interests etc, for another research is checking on someone's movements to find a time when they are alone and vulnerable to attack or what parents are vulnerable to giving access to their children.
