Insurance University Help?!!

I got an offer for MML at Cambridge (A*AA) so will obviously choose that as my firm. I am not sure whether I should choose Durham (AAA) or Edinburgh (ABB) as my insurance. They seem to be quite similar universities in terms of reputation although I would prefer Durham, having visited it. I am predicted 3 A*s so should meet the Cambridge offer but was wondering whether it would be better to choose Edinburgh as my insurance as it would account for a complete A-Level disaster, rather than Durham which only asks for one grade lower than Cambridge.

Edinburgh - you will have much more fun, and leading up to Results Day the lower grade offer will be far more reassuring.

I would personally put Edinburgh. Not just in terms of it being a better city but also like the comment above said, you’d be reassured that you’ll get into your insurance.

Be wary that both Edinburgh and Durham are both cutting lots of staff. So some modules might change or options be cut if staff leave.

Language courses are 'hard-to-fill'. You would likely still be accepted by either if you dropped a grade or two on Results Day.
