how to get chemistry & biology A-levels and science endorsements as external student

Hi I am 20 years old and initially wanted to do computer science but now I have pivoted to medicine the unis I can apply to and called said I need chemistry and biology A-levels including science endorsements how can I get these as a external candidate as I don't think I can just go join a college at 20 turning 21 in june. Also does anyone know any good intensive courses for these A-levels in birmingham?

I don't know about Birmingham specifically but there are private centres that do a week of practicals that you need for the exam (maybe you could find one near you). You don't necessarily have to go back to college

If you don’t have any level 3 qualifications already, you could go to college for free for A levels until you’re 23. Alternatively, you could do an access to medicine course for one year.

Trying to self study A levels is expensive, especially for biology and chemistry. The exams cost at least several hundred pounds for each subject, plus up to a thousand pounds per science subject for practical endorsements. “Tutors and Exams” and “Excel exam centres” offer the practical endorsements.

Tutors and exams is more expensive but they have a centre in the midlands.

In your boat I’d go for college as it’s free. I’d probably do the access to medicine course as it’s quicker than a levels.
