Placement at Strathclyde

Hi I currently have a offer from strathclyde for biomedical science but I recently found out that they do not do a placement year, and I don't kno what to do, for some stupid reason I did not apply to glasgow caledonian cuz my friend said it was not a good school. So I was just wondering if anybody is at or finished form strathclyde to tell me how they got around the placement.

P.S. I am awaiting an offer from University of the West of Scotland

Hi @Michael125678 🙂 Congrats on your offer!! Some students on the Biomedical Sciences route will do a work placement in their summers to build their employability. Not having it built in to the curriculum doesn't mean that it's not a possibility at all. If you're an offer holder then you'll soon receive invites to attend upcoming applicant days (both in person and virtually) so if you're able to attend these maybe that's a good opportunity to ask what current students have been up to? 🔬 You've still got lots of time to decide which university is right for you.
