2:1 BA Hons Graduate in Drama/Hispanic Studies wanting to go into Veterinary medicine

I have an upper 2:1 BA Hons degree in Drama and Hispanic studies. My A-Levels were Drama, English Literature, Photography and Spanish - so no sciences although I have all A's in them at GCSE. I know I'm probably starting from absolute scratch here but I'm a hard worker and ready to put in the years of study needed. Can anyone advise me on the best route into Veterinary Medicine given my existing academic qualifications? Would I need to go back to A-Levels? Grateful for any advice!

Without a science degree, you'd have to start from the start and retake A-levels. Any combination of Biology, Chemistry and another academic A-level like maths or an essay subject will do. Then you'd have to get work experience in a vet's so you'd have something to talk about in personal statement and interview.
You have a long road ahead of you, best of luck!
If you don't mind me asking, why the change of heart in career path?

Depending on the unis you apply to, an Access to HE course might be an option.

I don't mind you asking! I went to uni for financial reasons for my family, not because I really wanted to. So I decided to at least study something that I enjoyed. Hence Drama and Spanish (qualifying me for nothing haha). I've always been interested in veterinary studies but I didn't have the guidance to follow the academic steps to get me there. I've been working for the last several years in film, which I love but with Covid and the strikes, the industry is somewhat on it's knees. Without sounding too egotistical- I'm a good student and am willing to commit the years necessary. Just worried about the financial implications. Thanks for your help!

I didn't know an undergraduate degree in Drama and Hispanic studies was a thing. Well, the more you know.
