If I were to hypothetically study computer science at oxbridge and did my postgraduate degree there as well could that be used to obtain a very high paying job somewhere?

Absolutely. There are a lot of jobs you could get from that in a wide range of fields.

Nothing is guaranteed but, yes, an Oxbridge degree can open many doors.
