I'm in the exact same situation as you- had my interview back in November but hopefully decisions will come out around late feb/march time

According to the admissions' tutor, it's Feb - March, having asked Simon himself as a current imperial Chemistry student. I can ask him on your guys' behalf when it would be. I'd imagine the teaching fellows, and respective staff are finalising decisions now.

It would be very helpful if you could get an update. I hope the decision is in our favor. After being rejected by Oxbridge, this news is important for my peace of mind

What course did u guys apply for? 4 year or 3 year? Straight chem or w options? Year in industry or research abroad?

I applied for the standard 4yr mchem course. I really like imperials modules for chem, also the optional molecular physics is pretty cool. Year in industry and research is neat too.

Hope we all get an offer !! What grades do u all feel like they’ll ask u for?

don't worry, it's extremely flexible once you get in, you can easily change courses, from bsc to master's etc. there's set dates for transfers every year, but for the year abroad course, they're looking for the best students (1st or above etc.) at imperial to participate in those programmes, so that one may be harder to transfer, as they'd most likely look at your grades before deciding to let you, that being said, I believe they may give out harsher offers for yr abroad and yr in industry etc. than bsc

I felt that the interview went alright, the questions were quite abstract and it was inorganic which isn't my strong suit but I still think I managed well, I really hope we hear back around early march because I can't wait any longer 😭

Yeah I applied for the 4 year MChem too!! you're so right the modules are really interesting I think I would do molecular physics if I had that choice too lol
I think they'd ask for around A* AAA or A*A*AA

No reply yet. My interview was on group theory 💀 I mentioned it in my personal statement though, so it was quite easy, if it was on anything related to chem I'd be done for. I decided to firm bristol already though. Waiting on updates, hope all of you guys get in!!
