Going straight from Bachelors to Counselling Doctorate (DCounsPsych)?

Hi,
I'm doing my undergrad right now (first year) and I'm looking at the future. I want to do a Counselling Doctorate and I'm hoping to do it immediately after my BSc. Is this unrealistic? I meet the requirements for pretty much all of them (projected to get a 1st, 3 years mental health textline worker, 3 years in another helping role, lvl 2 counselling qualification)

my only worry is if I apply in my final year they won't accept me because I don't have the degree yet even with projected grades, do I need to take a year out so I can apply in the next cycle on when it would be confirmed? It wouldn't be ideal. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

I’m a degree qualified counsellor & psychotherapist, with a 1st class honours, and the grades are important but from me visiting varying universities over the last few months for counselling psych doc, the common consensus is that the doctoral programme wants students with a breadth of clinical experience in different areas (ie addiction, learning disabilities, grief, etc), research published, and counselling experience. You may need to undertake a further counselling qualification (lvl 4) in order to practice and boost your application. I’m level 6 and it’s still difficult for me to really boost my application. Good luck 😊
