It’s completely understandable to feel overwhelmed, but with the right approach, you can definitely improve your ethics revision and essay-writing skills! Here are some key strategies:
Revision Tips:
Understand Core Concepts Break topics down into key theories (e.g., Utilitarianism, Kantian Ethics) and ensure you grasp their principles, strengths, and weaknesses.
Use Exam Board Specifications Check exactly what you need to know to avoid wasting time on unnecessary details.
Active Recall & Mind Maps Summarize topics in your own words and test yourself using flashcards or practice questions.
Apply Real-Life Examples Ethical theories make more sense when linked to real-world dilemmas (e.g., euthanasia, AI ethics).
Essay Structure:
Introduction Briefly define key terms, outline your argument, and mention the theories you’ll discuss.
Main Body Use a clear structure:
Point State a clear argument.
Explain Develop it with theory and evidence.
Evaluate Critically analyze strengths and weaknesses.
Link Connect back to the question. Conclusion Summarize your argument and make a justified judgment.
Additional Tips:
Practice timed essays to improve speed and structure.
Review examiner reports to see what gains high marks.
Seek feedback from teachers or peers to refine your approach.
If you need more tailored support, I can help with detailed feedback and structured essay guidance. You're not alone in this—keep going, and your hard work will pay off!

Thank you! As someone who's also struggling their way through OCR, this has helped
