Hi @hollyylolly

Congratulations on your offer!

While I'm not a marketing and management student, I do go to UEA. Contact hours can differ, for instance in my second year, I had about 14-16 contact hours spread out over every day of the week, but now as a master's student I have 11 hours spread out over three days. Generally in my first year Wednesdays were kept free for sporting events, but I highly encourage you to speak to some of our business students who will be able to give you specific information about the business school timetables (as I did psychology) 😊

How do you plan to commute? I will say parking at UEA can be quite expensive, especially in the mornings, so it might be worth looking at ways to commute. I commute by car because I have a special permit, but there is also the Park & Ride which is free.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions!

12 hours would probably be 4 or 5 days. Timetabling isn't like school where almost every hour is filled. The idea of uni is that they give you short, intense contact hours and then you go and do your own learning around that injection of structure. So often its only one two our session a day, rarely more than 2, unless it's a lab-based science degree.
