Been waiting just over 4 months for provisional
So I had to send in my physical photograph/passport etc. on the provisional application, got that sent off 3 and a half months ago and still it says "Awaiting return form". I intend on calling them at some point tomorrow but anyone have any idea what is going on?

I hope you sent it via recorded mail
DVSA are running within their normal timeframes.
I would recommend calling them and asking for an update. It should have been processed by now.

it sounds as if your document was not delivered successfully. if you send by Special Delivery it costs about £7 but is guaranteed to get there quickly.

I would be very alert to the fact that your original identity documents may have gone astray.
