Booking Accommodation

I’m going to Bangor University, I’m looking for a female only dorm for my first year. Should I just pick a room and hope for the best? Which village is better? I’m so stressed, help 😭

Not a student there but you could email the university asking if they have this available? I know that some do.

Hi xstalx,

Don’t be stressed! You have nothing to worry about! I don’t attend Bangor university myself, but I am sure that the university can help you with this really easily. Contact the accommodation team, their email address is [email protected] or give them a call 01248 382667 and make sure you have a list of all your concerns and queries alongside you so you can remember everything you need to ask.

Have you been on an open day to Bangor university yet? As you are going there you will be able to visit on an applicant day too, and these days are great for getting an insight into the university, especially the halls of residence. The various staff within the university departments will be on hand to offer you advice and help to answer all your questions too, so this is another option to consider.

The student accommodation page of Bangor university’s website is great too, this might be able to help you.

Most importantly don’t worry the university will help you find the right accommodation. Enjoy your time at Bangor when you start,

I actually think I’ve chosen a room and a building I like, it’s not a females only but I think I can live with that haha. I’ve been to an open day, and I’ve been invited to an applicant today although I need to be able to get down there but I’ve got plenty of time to do that before the day!

Thank you Jess! I hope I do enjoy myself

Hi there! I havent booked anything yet! But I have chosen an accommodation that I like. Would you recommend to just book the room I want in the building? But if anything doesn’t go to plan would I be able to change it?

Thank you
