Is an aspirational uni choice a good idea?
Hi I have already applied to uni and I’m not sure if the ones I applied for were good ideas
I applied for 4 safe options (3 of which I’ve already gotten offers for) that were in line with my predicted grads but I applied to 1 aspirational that would take a miracle for me to get into (my predicted are lower than their requirement and so was my GCSE, but only by slightly)
The aspirational choice was a widely respected uni that I had a soft spot for cuz when I visited I really liked it, the campus, the course, a couple of my family members also really loved the uni with one of my cousins saying that she absolutely loved it and a couple people I know also have their eyes on it but it’s most likely I’m not getting in, did I make a bad decision

Why not?
You've got 3 offers already and whether you get the 4th offer makes no difference, you can only select a firm and an insurance. Dreams never come true if you don't dream.

You can only go to one university. The competition isn't to get 5 offers, it's to get one offer you'd like to attend. Sounds like you are on track to be in that position, whether your aspirational choice makes you an offer or not.
