Let us make some illuminating puns using traditional wordplay materials :h:

Dear bear,

Please accept my sincerest apologies for being over 48 hours behind my deliberate 24 hour delay. A pest infestation has been to blame for this, which has meant that I have not been able to shine a light on some of the puns. I'm pleased to say that we've managed to snuff the pests' candle, and so it should be business as usual.

I have somehow managed to become closer to the esteemed "moderator" position, so hopefully can better assist with any gusts of foul wind that may want to extinguish our pun and games.

With that aside, let's light up these threads with puns!
Burning the candle at both wickes
Catholic Candles burn the midnight oil at Christmas
A good candle can be scent-sational
The flame is strong with this one
Waxy and relaxy
Glow big or glow home
Cool candles have the best drip
Wicks and stones may break your bones, but candles will never hurt you
All's fair in love and wick (or wax?)
Glowing with the flow [of the flame]

Wkrótce ptaki wlecą do środka, aby ucztować na owadach.
Wkrótce nastąpi całkowite zamieszanie, gdy ptaki
walczą ze sobą i atakują firanki swoimi spiczastymi stopami.
