Ahh hopefully we meet in October ☺️ I applied to Cambridge (received an offer yesterday!), King's College London, and the University of Toronto (my institution). I am interested in early modern book history/print culture, specifically seditious publishing in the seventeenth century! What about you?

Yes definitely❤️! And congratulations on your offer from Cam. I am looking into York, Durham and Exeter so far (went to Exeter for my undergrad). I am hoping to research early modern women’s writing during the English Civil War with a particular focus on book history and manuscript studies.
That sounds really interesting and v up my street! I love learning about political propaganda of the 17th century!!

Hello, everyone! Nice to meet you all! I applied to Cambridge and Bristol. I have an offer from UCL, and I might apply to Columbia. For Oxford, I applied to the 1900-Present and English and American Studies strands. My research interests lie at the intersection of 20th-century literature and psychoanalysis.

hi all! this is such an odd question, but do we know if there's any "portal astrology" to be done for the oxford application in the same way that with cambridge, a "decision pending" status can be a good sign?

I guess our ‘astrology’ would be to check the source code once the upload button disappears. We have no other way of tracking like we do with cam

Hey Everyone! Despite my funny username, I like to think I'm a serious applicant for Oxbridge! I applied for the 1900s-Present strand and am so nervous! I'm an American studying English Literature with a certificate in Creative writing at a top 5 university here in the states. Also - on other message boards everyone keeps talking about the "button" disappearing. What is this button?!?!?

I'm going to have to physically restrain myself from checking the source code once the button disappears...do not want to find out via HTML no matter the outcome 😭
