Can anyone that currently goes to plymouth for dentistry or have done any interviews at Plymouth for dentistry give me insight into what type of questions they ask and roughly how the interview process went as i cant seem to find anything about it online.

I can’t tell you much about specific questions or types to uphold the fairness of the interview stage but I can tell u the interview process . It’s overall around 65 mins including registration. The interview structure is - one ice breaker question 5 mins . 4 stations - each 10 minutes (2 questions each station). Each question is out of 15 so 135 overall

thank you so much thats so helpful. Can i ask if its like the general usual questions that come up or unusual ones that you have to think on the spot for?

The best way to describe it was they made u think on the spot - like it wasn’t unusual questions it was just asked in a different way. But everyone gets different questions depending on panel your on and time so it’s hard to speak on behalf of everyone, I can only say what i experienced. Also this was for medicine foundation year at Plymouth so questions will differ but structure of the interview is the same .

Do Hot topics come up on the interview? Because on the website it sais it does not test medical or scientific knowledge.
I can’t speak on behalf of all interviews and questions as each one differs from the next. I would say make sure you go over hot topics just incase it does come up - better to be safe than sorry .

Heya, I'm not a dental student unfortunately but I'd recommend reaching out on the dental thread to hear from some other students, although they wouldn't likely be able to discuss many specifics.
Best of luck! 🙂
