Because they haven't reached a verdict on your application yet. Could either be a good or bad sign. Difficult to say.

Writing to them and asking about when we will received a verdict before the ten weeks is up is probably not the best idea. However, if anyone has another offer from a different university they need to reply to, I think they will be more understanding

Starting to regret ever learning about the button thing haha. Oh well, too late to crawl back to the comforting oblivion of the cave. Does anyone have any interesting button theories they want to share?

I rly hate the freaking button theory but I do have things to share😂 Early disappearance of button is a good thing because rej email is sent without the disappearance

idk about this program but I was rejected by a mphil program, and the button disappeared before I received the rej email.

Yep. These button/offerdoc theories vary a lot by departments. We will reach the 10 weeks mark by next week anyways. While I know no one will be 100% chill but there really is no need to spend our energy panicking/ stressing about the button disappearance..

Same. I was rejected by SSI after the button disappeared for about 2 days, so button theory is fully depends on department in my views.

Assuming this refers to Social Sciences of the Internet. Was this last admission cycle (Nov deadline) or now?
