What grades are you headed for?

Most (but not all) universities would accept that subject mix.

What type of university would you like? Size of city/ location/ campus based for example. Have you looked into Flying Start degrees and ACA apprenticeships?

Uni of york and city University are great ones that don't require a level maths. I'd say although York is a Russel group, City is better for accounting & finance since it has the whole bayes business school as part of the university.

I'm sure there's more , but these are the ones ik
Hello there!

With A-Levels in Accounting, Business, and Economics, you have a strong foundation for an Accounting and Financedegree. Most universities accept these subjects, as they provide relevant knowledge in financial management, business operations, and economic principles.
A BSc Accounting and Finance degree prepares students for careers in financial management, auditing, investment banking, and corporate finance, and many universities offer industry placements to help gain practical experience.

Coventry University is an excellent choice as it provides a career-focused approach, industry connections, and strong support for students entering the finance sector.

Hey there,

It’s great that you’re studying Accounting, Business, and Economics as those are very relevant A-levels for an Accounting and Finance degree. If you’re looking for a university that values this combination, I’d definitely recommend London South Bank University (LSBU).

Our BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance course is accredited by ACCA, CIMA, and ICAEW, meaning you can gain exemptions from professional exams while you study. Your A-levels align really well with the course, and LSBU typically looks for applicants with business-related subjects, so your choices are a strong fit. We also offer a foundation year if you need more flexibility with entry routes.

At LSBU, the course is career-focused, with options for a placement year and opportunities to work on case studies. Plus, 89% of LSBU Accounting and Finance graduates are in work or further study within 15 months (Graduate Outcomes Survey 2020/21), which shows the strong outcomes we’re proud of.

Here is a link about the course in more depth - https://www.lsbu.ac.uk/study/course-finder/certhe-accounting-and-finance

Do keep an eye on our website, as our October Open Day will be live soon, and it’s a great chance to visit the campus, meet lecturers, and explore your course options.

The coursework and exams are designed in a way to help students gain practical knowledge and experience. The lectures are taught by seasoned professors that carry a wealth of experience.
