I'm a current Higher Chemistry student and I sat Chemistry in Nat 5.

I wouldn't say there's a huge amount of overlap between the Nat 5 course and the Higher course which will help to make it easier to do. There is some but a lot of it is new content that isn't visited in Nat 5. I would still recommend looking over the Nat 5 course at least a little so you can get a feel for what it is like and have some basic knowledge when you go into Higher - especially for things like REDOX reactions, some carbon chemistry like alcohols/alkanols and your very basics like figuring out the chemical formula for a compound, mole calculations, balancing equations, etc (I can provide a more extensive list if required). I'd say going over the more calculations/maths-y sort of stuff is definitely a must-do for crashing Chemistry as I can tell you wholeheartedly that you still use those equations in Higher.

As for resources, Jabchem is a pretty good website. They have the all of the new/revised Higher Chemistry past papers and the old Chemistry past papers (but I'd stick with 2015 onwards as course content may be different the further back you go). It also has pre-made traffic light sheets which you can use to identify the areas you need to improve on if you like that sort of thing. My school uses Achieve Learning - though I'm not sure if we pay to use it so I don't know if you'd be able to - which can be helpful. If you can use Achieve, it has past papers linked to topics so you can find questions for your weakest areas. It also has a traffic light feature for you to identify your weakest areas. I also have hyperlinked past papers (linked below) which are similar to Achieve in that you can get past paper questions linked to specific parts of the course.

My brain is running on fumes at the moment so I'll come back in the morning and update my answer if I think of anything new once I'm more refreshed.

Hyperlinked PPQs:
2021 - 2023
2015 - 2019

Edit:
Scholar can also be a good resource though, again, I'm not sure if it's paid for by the school so we can use it. It has explanations for all of the areas of the course as well as mini-assessments/quizzes at the end of each section. It also has practice questions throughout with expandable answers so you can check to see if you've got them correct.
