Nottingham Trent University (NTU) Accommodation Thread 2025

We're pleased to announce that our accommodation opens on the 4th February 2025! Early bookings are welcome, and you will be able to apply for accommodation after you have made NTU your firm choice.

Where you choose to stay will be a big part of your first-year experience so make sure to visit our accommodation pages to find the right choice for you. If you're still deciding on your offer, we guarantee accommodation in Nottingham for first-year students joining us in 2025. Terms and conditions apply.

Here’s a few things you can do to get ready:
If you're ready to accept your offer, select NTU as your firm choice on UCAS
If you're a new student, you'll need to create your NTU password before you can book
Please allow 48 hours after you have accepted your offer on the UCAS Hub / NTU applicant portal to create your password

I applied for my accommodation yesterday. I found the whole process very frustrating after hours of research, looking at your own website and others, including video tours, student blogs and looking at feedback I came to a decision about which halls and type of room I wanted only to find that due to certain room types being pre allocated due to age range and contract length my initial choice wasn't available to me.

This rendered my planning, research and decision making moot as in the end the only options presented to me was 3 rooms in the same flat.

This information about preallocations shouldn't be obfuscated when looking at my options for accommodation they should match what I'm presented with when I log onto your accommodation portal rather than leaving me to scurry and reassess in the moment when i come to book

I'm sorry to hear you've not had a good experience with our booking system. Unfortunately some of our rooms are pre-allocated so that we can accommodate students across a wide age range, including specific postgraduate or mature student accommodation as well as accessible and single gender spaces.
