Curious: What exactly was your proposed field (eg. european law, criminal law etc)? You dont have to be specific, just interested in the spread.

Yes, I studied law in Germany (passed the 1st State Examination in Law). How come you decided to pursue a DPhil in Law?
And are you overseas or UK based?

Still no updates on Dphil law other than a graduate application survey email.

Has anyone received an interview invitation?

Going by previous years, we won't hear anything until March 15th at the earliest. Plus several pages say interviews are not conducted for DPhil Law

No interviews for those just applying for the Law Dphil. Interestingly enough I have not received a graduate application survey email
we just have to wait till March 15th.

Apparently some might receive even a scholarship before their offer (end of February).

I still have to take the language test. I am thinking of just taking it when and if I receive an offer...

How do you know that some people are offered scholarships before places? That seems beyond odd...

I read somewhere that some decisions re: scholarships are sometimes made by the end of February. Considering that offers are usually extended around the mid of March (the earliest) I think that this could happen (theoretically).

You applied for Dphil Law and didn't get a graduate application survey email? I wonder why some get it and some not...

Anyone else received the survey email? I'm wondering if this can be some kind of indication other than the "upload button" theory. If not all Dphil Law/Socio-Legal applicants receive the same survey email, then it might indicate something.
