What do I need to say when applying for work experience

I am in year 10 and have found some possible places for work experience but I don't know what I need to apply. My school is not helping at all and hasn't told me anything about what I need. Some people I know have told me I need to include a CV, but at 15 I'm not sure if it is necessary. If anyone knows what I need to include in an email and how to structure it, I would appreciate some help

im not gonna lie I am like the exact same as you BUT I know how to write a structured email, so u can use this template if you want to:

Dear (employer),

I am writing to you today to ask if you offer any work experience. (include personal details such as name, age, that should be usually enough, maybe what school you go to if its one of those grammar schools)

Here are some of my skills:
(list your qualities here, but make them tailored to the company you're applying for e.g for a computer science work exp, u would want to say you have good analytical skills over good fashion skills)

Please let me know whether this is possible and other things I may need to be selected for this role.

Many thanks,
(your name)

this is just a template, so yeah tweak about with it how you please. I would make a cv although I haven't yet, but in the long run, it's worth making. I recommend using word or canva to make it as they are pretty popular and have cv templates you can use. things you need is just some sort of skill and most definitely passion - employers will assume that you have no work experience so u don't really need the skill aspect, mainly just the passion

hope this helped
