UCL

I know ucl and kcl take a long time to respond. On their websites they say 4-10 weeks and you shall receive a decision. I am now coming up to my 8th week of having sent it off and worrying if they exceed the 10 weeks. Do offers usually come in mid February because i’ve seen people say they reply in March or early April😭😭😭Again i’ve read on the website if they do exceed the 10 weeks, i should contact them but i’m just nervous and wondering WHEN do people ACTUALLY receive offers and is it within the 10 weeks of applying?

I don’t think that’s correct. UCL will be absolutely inundated with applications. I’ve only heard of a few people who have received offers and it appears as though they were mostly early applicants for Oxbridge. No need to worry! X

UCL are pretty well known to make undergrad offers right up to the deadline UCAS give them. I got mine in May I believe...?

Where do they state they will make a decision within 4-10 weeks?

‘We aim to provide applicants with a decision within 10 weeks of their application being complete and will let you know either on your applicant portal or by email if we encounter any delays.’ is what they say on their website, maybe i should’ve read a bit more clearly since it says they aim within 10 weeks!

May i ask what course you received an offer for?

i applied to UCL last week and got an offer today, but i think it depends on what you're applying for bc my course is pretty niche so there may have been less applicants

Where on their website does it state that? Please link the exact page!

I'm doing a small/niche humanities course in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

kcl, history and IR
ucl, politics and IR
I’ve heard of a guy receiving his history and IR offer from KCL but he was an early applicant.

yeah many universities do! there is no way they can reply to everyone in time for offer holder days!! I received an offer for QMUL in december and got sent the offer holder day thing. My friend just recently got her offer and missed the day.

Just wanted to point out that page is for graduates (Masters/PhD) not undergrad.

I'm waiting on UCL as well but for a different course. I've seen people say they take ages for a lot of courses so wouldn't worry too much.
